Michael Rosberg Germer

Michael Rosborg Germer was born i Copenhagen, Denmark, and began playing the violin at the age

of four. When he was 11- years old he studied one and a half year with two of the concertmasters of The Royal Danish Orchestra, Tobias Duurholm and Lars Bjørnkær.

Since 2015 he has been studying with Professor at The Royal Danish Academy of Music,

Serguei Azizian.

The Menuhin Competition, in London in april


The Louis Spohr Competition in Weimar in october, 1. and 2. round.


13 years old he won the Scandinavian ”Øresund Solist Competition”-2016

(the category up to 16 years old) and was awarded the EMCY-prize.

13 years old he won Goldmedal of Berlingske Music Competiton (Denmark).

11 years old he won 1st Prize in the Jacob Gade Violin Competition (Denmark) and was awarded the Talent Prize of the competition.


2014, 2015 and 2016 International Summercourses at Royal Danish Academy of Music.

2016 he attended ISA Summer Course in Semmeringen, Austria, in Masterclasses for Solo

String Players.


2016: Masterclasses and private lessons with Dora Schwarzberg in Sweden and Vienna.

This spring 2017 he is participating in the solist class YSA, Young Strings Academy, in Sweden and here he played soloquartet with Levon Chiligirian in Elgar Introduction and Allegro, and furthermore chamber music wich is to be recorded for Universal Music spring 2017.


In june 2017 he is invited to play as the youngest participant at a concert of Valdrés Festival in Norway.
