Alexander Nickelsen

Alexander Nickelsen is a jazz pianist educated with a master's degree in Jazz Performance at the New England Conservatory, as well as two bachelor's degrees in Music Education and Jazz Performance, at Berklee College Of Music.

Alexander teaches music theory and piano with an integrated method for rhyme, analysis, arrangement, composition and improvisation at Music at Majorstuen and Barratt Due's Young Talents.

Alexander is the author and author of the teaching material MITOP, music in theory and practice. MITOP is a level-divided interdisciplinary platform where theoretical and executive subjects are integrated in a way that provides mutual understanding between the subjects and a greater overall academic benefit for the students.

Alexander has previously taught at a number of schools and universities in the United States, Latin America and Norway.
