Violinist Bjarne Magnus Jensen was born in Kristiansand. After studies in the USA and Switzerland, he completed his final exam at the Norwegian Academy of Music with a premiere performance of Bärenreiter's original text edition of Beethoven's violin concerto, alongside the Norwegian Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra and under the direction of Andrew Manze. He is an active soloist, orchestra leader, and chamber musician, participating in festivals both domestically and internationally. Bjarne Magnus has toured in the USA, Asia, South America, and numerous European countries, showcasing his talents as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestra leader. In 2011, he was appointed as a teacher at the Norwegian Academy of Music, and from 2012 to 2014, he served as the leader of the talent program. Jensen is a versatile musician with extensive experience in classical music, jazz, and tango.
