Albert Noven started playing double bass when he was 10 years old and took playing lessons with Sjur Bjærke at the Barratt-Due music institute. In 2017, he completed his bachelor's degree at Barratt-Due and began his artist diploma studies at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Here he studies under Hal Robinson and Edgard Meyer.
As a musician, Albert has worked on contract in the Oslo Philharmonic and as a substitute in the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Oslo Philharmonic. He is also a member of the Oslo fat string quartet.
Among festivals, Albert has participated in Valdres Summer Symphony, the Bergen Festival, Lofoten Piano Festival, North Sea Chamber Music Festival and several other festivals.
