The Norwegian baritone Magnus Berg has his education from the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Opera Academy in Copenhagen. Berg ended his time as a Young Artist and part of the Royal Theater's soloist ensemble in Copenhagen in the spring of 2023. He made his debut at the Royal Theater in the performance Maskarade by Carl Nielsen in 2020, and has also performed roles as Schaunard in La Boheme (The Royal Theater ), Masetto in Don Giovanni (The Royal Theatre), Nardo in La Finta Giardiniera (Opera Academy), Don Giovanni in Don Giovanni (Opera Academy) and Figaro in Figaro's Wedding (Christiania chamber opera). In the 22/23 season at Det Kongelige Teater, he sang, among other things, Moralès and Dancaïro in Carmen, and was also seen in Det Kongelige Teater's big Christmas concert, a separate recital, etc. He also sang in the performance Querini at Røst in August 2018, and in 2016 he was a guest at the Bergen Festival in the premiere of De Ni Verdener. He has also been a guest at the Copenhagen Opera Festival, the Oslo Opera Festival and the Kirsten Flagstad Festival on several occasions.
